3D PRINT MODEL DESCRIPTION
Autumn Fall Thanksgiving Cornucopia | 3D Printer Model Files
The horn for this cornucopia was designed to be printed in spiral vase mode. Increase the extrusion width to increase strength and decrease the likelihood of a print failure. I recommend an extrusion width of 0.6mm when using a 0.4mm nozzle, and 0.8mm for a 0.6mm nozzle.
A layer height of 0.1mm is recommended when using a 0.4mm nozzle, though a layer height of 0.2mm should be fine when printing with a 0.6mm nozzle. In the event of a print failure, reducing the layer height should help.
Reduce the bottom layers to 0. Printing the horn without this adjustment will result in a cap at the opening of your cornucopia which would need to be removed anyway. Enable the brim, then set your brim width to 5mm and reduce the brim separation gap to 0mm. The brim will provide sufficient bed adhesion while still being easy to remove.
The rim of the cornucopia is not a spiral vase print and can be printed using default print settings. Activate variable layer height to reduce layer stepping.
Assembly requires a bit of glue. I used Gorilla Super Glue Gel.
